Construction Details

Newly built Jaganmatha's abode is based on the model of Thiruvaiyaru Sri Dharmasamvardhini Temple and is unique in the sense that it is made fully out of stone. The Vidyapeetam consists of 98 pillars, each of which are intricately hand-carved. The construction was initiated and planned by Pujyashri Omkarananda Mahaswami, and is now being conducted under the guidance of Pujyashri Pranavananda Swami. As can be seen from the images above, Jaganmatha's new home in the city of Pudukkottai is a feat of engineering and aesthetics. However, the construction has been going on for 6 years due to it being a complex process and now, we welcome anyone who can donate money to please do so for finishing the sacred stone shrine for Sri Bhuvaneshwari Ambal. Thanks a lot for your help & donations. We extend our gratitude and prayers towards your generosity for the construction of the Adhishtanam. May Jaganmatha Sri Buvaneshwari shower her abundant blessings for health, wealth, knowledge and prosperity. "Om Hreem"
